I personally like a lighter cocktail with my brunch, so I’m naturally drawn to anything with bubbles. Admittedly it was the tomato in this cocktail that gave us pause, but wow was it good. This was probably Robin’s best recommendation the Wishing Well. It’s one of those places where you could loose track of time, end up spending your entire day on the patio with a cocktail, biscuit, and friends and consider a day well spent. We sat out on the patio overlooking the Beltline trail and had such a blast with our amazing waiter Robin (seriously, ask for him when you go, he’s just wonderful and has the best recommendations with a Swedish accent to boot).
A few weeks ago we decided to finally give it a more thorough assessment. There’s an electric buzz in the air, a line out the door, an even longer line to the camper bar in the Grove, the smell of smoked meats and freshly baked buttermilk biscuits dancing with the machine-gun rattle of cocktail shakers furiously. We were intrigued but our quest adventure kept us walking that day. A couple of months ago, while me and some gal pals were exploring the Beltline for the first time, we came across Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall with it’s bustling patio and charm.
